Pierre-Marie Chermette

The Domaine Famille Chermette is a family -run winery dating back to the 17th century, located in Saint-Vérand , in the Pierres-Dorées region south of Beaujolais in the Rhône.
Having arrived in 2017, Jean-Etienne Chermette took over the estate in February 2023, succeeding Martine and Pierre-Marie Chermette. Passionate about his work, he is fully committed to producing wines of exceptional quality : Beaujolais white, rosé, and red wines, crus such as Brouilly, Fleurie, Saint-Amour, Morgon, and Moulin-à-Vent, Crémant de Bourgogne, and artisanal fruit liqueurs.
While benefiting from traditional family know-how , Jean-Etienne brings a touch of modernity and innovation , notably by introducing new appellations such as Morgon, as well as new grape varieties like Pinot Noir, Viognier, and soon Syrah. He modernizes the packaging and designs a new logo.
