Description
Italy is a vast wine-producing country, rich in a thousand-year-old winemaking history. Much like France, each region has its own terroir, flagship grape varieties, climate, and traditions, giving rise to very different wine styles.
During this evening, we will discover the major differences between the wines of Northern Italy—from Valpolicella to the great Nebbiolos of Piedmont, as well as the legendary Chiantis of Tuscany—and those of the South, which are less known but equally interesting and complex.
We will notably set out to discover Campania and its range of lesser-known grape varieties, before ending in Puglia with the indulgence and generosity of Primitivos.
5 red wines will be tasted, accompanied by boards of cheeses and charcuterie to share.
If you already attended the Italy-themed tasting last year, don't panic, these won't be the same wines!
