Domaine Chermette is a family-run winery dating back to the 17th century, located in Saint-Vérand, in the southern Beaujolais region . Taken over in 2023 by Jean-Etienne Chermette, the estate combines tradition and modernity to produce quality wines while innovating with new grape varieties (Pinot Noir, Viognier, Syrah) and modernizing the estate's image.

Moulin-à-Vent is known as the king of Beaujolais. It's the cru with the longest aging potential and most closely resembles its Burgundian neighbors. When it ages for a few years, it's sometimes said to "Pinot Noir-like." The blending of the three parcels in this cuvée makes it a complete and balanced wine: Rochegrès brings finesse, Roche Noire vivacity and fruit, and La Rochelle power.

Hand- harvested, traditional Beaujolais winemaking with maceration Semi-carbonic maceration of whole bunches with indigenous yeasts. This is followed by aging, 85% in oak foudres and 15% in oak barrels of 1 to 4 years old, for 6 to 8 months.

The nose is intense , with aromas of red fruits , floral touches and mineral , smoky , spicy notes.
The palate is refined and elegant , with a full, round, and fleshy attack. The tannins are velvety and smooth, with a velvety and mellow texture. Good aromatic complexity .
