Mercurey 1er Cru Champs Martin 2023 - Gouffier

This Mercurey 1er Cru “Les Champs Martin” from Gouffier is a wine from a plot of the Domaine planted with Pinot Noir grapes in the commune of Mercurey in the place called “Les Champs Martin”, at an altitude of 400m, facing South East on clay and limestone soil.

Harvested by hand , the grapes are sorted and then partially destemmed . Alcoholic fermentation occurs using indigenous yeasts . Sulfiting is added only after malolactic fermentation. This wine is aged for 14 months in oak barrels . Unfiltered and unfined.

Mercurey 1er Cru Champs Martin is intense with its aromas of black cherry , raspberry , and blackcurrant . The palate is ample , rich , and smoky with silky tannins.
