Malleolus 2018 - Emilio Moro

Malleolus 2018 by Emilio Moro is a great Spanish red wine emblematic of the Ribera del Duero , made from Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) grapes sourced from carefully selected old vineyards in Pesquera de Duero . The wine is vinified with a maceration of approximately 18 days, followed by aging in French oak barrels , which imparts structure, complexity, and elegance while respecting the pure expression of the fruit and terroir.

It reveals a deep cherry red color with violet reflections and offers on the nose an intense aromatic richness of ripe red and black fruits (blackberry, plum, blackcurrant) , complemented by spicy, balsamic and fine wood notes from its aging.

On the palate, Malleolus 2018 is full, harmonious and structured , with fine and silky tannins, well-integrated freshness and a long, elegant and persistent finish , reflecting the finesse of the Tempranillo and the balance between maturity and vivacity.
