Description
The "Loï" red Côtes du Rhône is a tribute to the nickname of Louis Saladin, father of Elisabeth and Marie-Laurence, and creator of this cuvée.
The plots are south-facing, located on an Ardèche clay-limestone terroir bordered by broom and pine trees, with 40-year-old vines. The harvest is entirely manual for the two Grenaches (Noir and Blanc), Syrah, and Carignan, which are then fermented together using semi-carbonic maceration.
Natural wine with a minimal dose of sulfur (no added yeast, enzymes, tannins, or other additives). Aged for 9 months in tanks.
The most "Southern" of the estate's cuvées, with its notes of slightly candied red fruits, garrigue, and its sanguine and smoky touch...
