Description
Les Petits Pas 2024 is the "immediate pleasure" cuvée from Domaine du Pas de l’Escalette, a property owned by Julien and Delphine Zernott on the foothills of the Larzac. Produced from vines grown using organic and biodynamic farming methods on limestone scree terraces situated at an altitude of 350 meters, this wine expresses all the freshness and energy characteristic of this high-altitude terroir.
This cuvée takes its name from the footprints of the winemakers' two sons, Jules and Gabriel. Accessible, spontaneous, and convivial, it was conceived as a wine for sharing, marked by its youth and delicious character. The blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan offers a fruity, crisp, and particularly easy-drinking profile.
The nose reveals generous aromas of fresh cherry, raspberry, blackberry, and redcurrant, accompanied by notes of violet, sweet spices, and garrigue. On the palate, the attack is supple and juicy, carried by delicate tannins and a lovely freshness. The wine seduces with its balance, aromatic brightness, and a delicious finish that invites another glass.
A quintessential "vin de copains" (wine for friends), Les Petits Pas pairs perfectly with aperitifs, charcuterie, grilled meats, pizzas, Mediterranean cuisine, or impromptu meals with friends. Served slightly chilled, it reveals all its deliciousness and thirst-quenching character.
