KOPKE Fine White Port
KOPKE Fine White Port
DOC Porto - Soft White - 19.5 % - 75 cL
Founded in 1638 , Kopke is the oldest Port house still in operation. Located on the left bank of the Douro, it is renowned for its classically elegant Ports , particularly its white cuvées which express the finesse of the indigenous grape varieties.
A blend of traditional Douro white grape varieties — Malvasia Fina, Viosinho, Gouveio and Rabigato . Partial vinification in oak barrels with fortification using wine brandy, then aged in oak barrels for several years to round out the texture and reveal the aromas of dried fruit.
Golden robe. Subtle nose of white flowers , honey , almond and orange peel . Smooth and balanced palate, between sweetness and freshness, with a slightly saline finish .
