Description
Committed winemaker António Lopes Ribeiro produces living wines between the Douro , the Dão and the Vinho Verde , where he values indigenous grape varieties in a spirit of great sincerity.
His wines, often vinified without added sulfur, are marked by great energy , aromatic purity and remarkable digestibility .
They perfectly embody the new generation of Portuguese wines: expressive, natural and deeply rooted in their terroir.
Complex blend of indigenous Douro grape varieties, namely Touriga Franca (60%), Touriga Nacional (10%), Tinta Barroca (10%), Tinta Roriz (10%) and Sousão (10%), grown on schist and granite soils.
The wine is made naturally, without any additives, to preserve the authenticity of the terroir.
Intense nose of blackberry , blackcurrant , violet and sweet spices .
The mouthfeel is silky, with a beautiful tannic structure, and a mineral freshness that balances the richness of the fruit.
A lingering and elegant finish.
