Jean Foillard 's Corcelette 2022 is an elegant expression of Gamay from the renowned granitic terroir of the Corcelette lieu-dit in the Morgon appellation (Beaujolais) . Cultivated organically with a natural and minimalist approach, this vintage perfectly reflects the purity and finesse characteristic of the Foillard style.
Visually, it presents a brilliant ruby robe , while the nose opens onto an intense bouquet of fresh red fruits (raspberry, cherry), floral aromas (violet, peony) and fine spices , supported by a subtle granitic minerality.
On the palate, the attack is silky and juicy , supported by fine tannins and a beautiful acidity , with a remarkable balance between fruit, freshness and mineral tension, and a long and elegant finish .
