Produced only in exceptional years , Quinta Vale D. Maria Vintage Port is a legendary wine. Made from a blend of old Douro vines, it reflects the concentration and power typical of the 2009 vintage.

Hand-harvested, traditionally fermented in lagares with foot treading, fortified with brandy, then aged briefly in barrels before bottling for long natural aging. Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão .

A deep nose of blackberry , plum , violet , licorice and dark chocolate . A dense and structured palate, with fine tannins and exceptional energy .
