The Wine of Friends - Auguste Clape

An icon of the northern Rhône, Domaine Auguste Clape has embodied the soul of Cornas for several generations. Auguste Clape was one of the pioneers in making the appellation known beyond its borders.

Today, his son Pierre-Marie and his grandson Olivier perpetuate this tradition of excellence: manual work, plot-by-plot vinifications, long aging in old casks.

Vin des Amis comes from young vines planted on the granite slopes around Cornas; it is an accessible introduction and faithful to the spirit of the estate.

An expressive nose of raspberry , fresh blackberry , black pepper and olive . A supple and juicy palate, with rounded tannins and a lovely spicy finish.
