Vent Balaguèr 2009 - Clos Lapeyre

Clos Lapeyre – Vent Balaguer 2009 is an exceptional vintage made from late-harvested grapes grown in the emblematic terroir of Jurançon (Southwest France), produced by the Clos Lapeyre estate using organic farming methods. This 2009 vintage is made from Petit Manseng grapes harvested when overripe and then naturally dried (the grapes are placed on racks to concentrate the sugars and aromas under the influence of the sun and the warm Vent Balaguer wind), before a long, gentle fermentation and extended aging in oak barrels.

On the nose , it develops a rich and sophisticated aromatic palette, with notes of candied fruit, very ripe apricot, dried orange peel, honey, spices and gingerbread , while retaining an invigorating freshness.

On the palate , the Vent Balaguer 2009 seduces with its generous density, balanced richness and lemony acidity , offering a candied texture and a long, harmonious finish that make it a gastronomic sweet white wine.
