Terrers Brut Nature 2019 - Recaredo

The Terrers Brut Nature 2019 comes from a mosaic of vineyards located in the heart of the Penedès , the historical cradle of Spanish sparkling wines. The soils are limestone and clay , typical of the region, and the vines are cultivated according to organic and biodynamic farming principles. The harvest is done by hand , and the winemaking takes place entirely on the estate , with natural fermentation (indigenous yeasts).

Corpinnat is a demanding appellation, created to distinguish great sparkling wines made from 100% organic grapes, hand-harvested and vinified on-site. Recaredo is one of the pioneers of this movement, which champions authenticity and respect for the terroir.

A fresh, complex and elegant nose of white and yellow fruits (green apple, pear, citrus, white peach, apricot), white flowers, chalk and notes of biscuit and toast due to long aging on lees.

The attack is lively and creamy , with fine and persistent bubbles. The aromas from the nose reappear , and the finish is mineral and almost saline.

Recaredo is often compared to great champagnes for its quality and finesse, but with a unique Mediterranean identity.
