Simon 2019 - Clos Marie

Simon 2019 from Clos Marie is a remarkable red wine from the Pic Saint-Loup appellation, made from vines cultivated using organic and biodynamic farming methods on Quaternary clay-limestone soils on semi-slopes. The blend of Grenache (≈45%), Syrah (≈45%), and Mourvèdre (≈10%) gives this vintage a deep color and an intense aromatic profile .

On the nose , it offers a bouquet of ripe black fruit, spices, garrigue, rosemary, and floral nuances , underpinned by a mouthwatering minerality, sometimes reminiscent of violet and rosemary. On the palate , the wine is dense, juicy, and well-textured , supported by fine tannins, lively acidity, and a beautiful length , with a finish of black fruit and Mediterranean spices.
