Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru “La Dominode” 2010 - Bruno Clair
Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru - Red - 13.0 % - 75 cL
Located on the Les Jarrons climate , in the heart of Savigny-lès-Beaune , the plot known as “La Dominode” is one of the oldest terroirs of the Bruno Clair estate, planted with Pinot Noir since the 1900s.
Facing due south-east on deep clay-limestone soils, it produces a wine that is at once dark, dense and elegant , representing one of the finest depth/finesse ratios of the Côte de Beaune.
The 2010 vintage, classic and balanced, here produces a bottle of great purity and superb aging potential.
A refined nose of black cherry , violet , sweet spices and fresh earth , with a smoky and truffled hint as it evolves.
The palate combines velvety texture , mineral tension and a persistent length .
The tannins are silky but firm, revealing a structure typical of a great Burgundy terroir.
