The 2019 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru La Chatenière from Domaine Joseph Colin is a great white Burgundy wine, produced from one of the most refined vineyard sites in the Saint-Aubin Premier Cru appellation. Made from 100% Chardonnay grown on mineral-rich clay-limestone soils , this vintage benefits from delicate vinification with traditional fermentation and controlled aging in French oak barrels (including a portion of new oak), on fine lees to impart texture and depth.

Visually , it presents a brilliant pale yellow robe with golden highlights . On the nose , it charms with an elegant aromatic palette of white flowers, ripe pear, candied citrus, light honey, and toasty nuances , with a subtle mineral signature reflecting the unique terroir of La Chatenière. On the palate , the wine offers a vibrant fruitiness , a fine and structuring acidity , and a long, pure, saline finish , combining freshness, finesse, and breadth.
