Románico 2020 - Teso la Monja

Románico comes from vineyards located at high altitude in the Toro region, known for its stony, well-drained soils, ideal for Tinta de Toro. Winemaking is traditional, with a double manual selection of the grapes to guarantee optimal quality. The wine is aged for six months in French oak barrels , which gives it a balanced structure and silky tannins.

Intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits (blackberry, blueberry), wildflowers , chocolate , clove and a touch of kirsch . A subtle minerality and woody notes complete the bouquet.

A powerful and juicy attack, with flavors of candied black fruit , sweet spices , and a well-integrated tannic structure . The finish is long, fresh, and balanced , with a touch of vanilla and licorice.
