Description
This blend, crafted with a high percentage of Arran single malt, is aged partly in second-fill sherry casks. To carry the spirit of its island far and wide, the Arran distillery enlisted a fitting ambassador: the renowned 18th-century Scottish poet Robert Burns. This native of southern Scotland famously recited his verses to the local spirit, whisky.
Pleasant and delicate nose. Raspberry, almond tart, toasted oak, caramel.
Dry and fruity on the palate. Sweet apple, licorice, subtle notes of peaty smoke. Long and fresh finish. Vanilla, spices.
