Valenciso Reserva 2011, Magnum

Founded by Luis Valentín and Carmen Enciso , Bodega Valenciso is a small-scale winery in Rioja Alta, renowned for its elegant and precise wines produced using sustainable viticulture.

Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes from old vines located in Ollauri , in the heart of Rioja Alta, this 2011 Reserva is the result of meticulous work and perfectly controlled aging.
The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, then matured for a long time in the bottle before being marketed.
The 2011 vintage, warm and generous, gives a wine of great concentration , perfectly balanced by the freshness typical of the altitudes of Rioja Alta .

Deep nose of black cherry , plum , sweet spices , cedar , and blond tobacco , with tertiary notes of fine leather and truffle .
On the palate, the texture is velvety, supported by silky tannins and a noble acidity.
The finish is long, harmonious and subtly smoky.
