Piélago 2009 - Jiménez-Landi

100% Grenache from 40-70 year old vines from the village of El Real de San Vicente at 700-850m altitude . Partially destemmed harvest, vinified in wooden vats and aged in 500-1500L barrels for 14 months.

The Grenache here is finely chiseled and astonishes with its freshness of fruity notes of cherry, blackcurrant, strawberry , and with the complexity of its spicy and mineral notes.

A touch of smoke , incense , and a fine, enveloping texture on the palate refine a wine with a bright future.
