Vouvray Moelleux 2023 - François and Julien Pinon

Vouvray Moelleux 2023 from François and Julien Pinon is a sweet white wine made exclusively from Chenin Blanc .

Its vinification follows a traditional process: slow fermentation without yeast or chaptalization , then stopping the fermentation to preserve residual sugars, and aging on fine lees for several months, which gives it roundness and complexity .

The wine offers a rich and seductive aromatic profile, allowing the finesse of the terroir and the balance between sweetness, freshness and vivacity to express themselves.

The nose is expressive with ripe fruits (mirabelle plum, pear, candied apple), candied citrus fruits , raisins or yellow-fleshed fruits, and floral or honey notes.

On the palate, the attack is mellow and ample , with a lovely sweetness well balanced by the natural acidity of Chenin Blanc, a smooth texture, a balance between sweetness and vivacity, with a fruity and slightly candied finish.
