Description
Pierre Morey 's 2018 Meursault Les Terres Blanches is a great white Burgundy made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, sourced from a plot located just below the renowned Les Gouttes d'Or vineyard. The shallow, very chalky soils impart a singular minerality and remarkable purity to this cuvée. The vines are cultivated biodynamically , and the wine is aged for approximately one year in French oak barrels , which contributes elegance, density, and complexity.
On the nose , this 2018 stands out with precise aromas of crisp white fruits, citrus, toasted almond and delicate honey , underscored by a buttery and pastry touch that remains perfectly balanced.
