The Langhe Nebbiolo “Lu” 2013 is a rare and refined vintage from Nebbiolo vines located in La Morra , in the heart of Piedmont.
Eugenio Bocchino, an artisanal and perfectionist winemaker, cultivates his plots biodynamically , with total respect for the soil and the fruit.
“Lu” for Lucia — his daughter’s name — is a tribute to the purity of the grape variety and the delicacy of the vintage.

The nose opens with notes of dried rose , morello cherry , blond tobacco , and sweet spices .
On the palate, the wine combines the tannic finesse of Nebbiolo with a beautiful mineral tension : a balance between ripe fruit and elegant structure.
A long, subtly mentholated and slightly smoky finish, typical of great Langhe wines.
