Lopy 2019 - The Blood of the Pebbles

The 2019 Lopy vintage from Domaine du Sang des Cailloux is a powerful and refined red wine from the Vacqueyras appellation, made from old vines cultivated using organic and biodynamic farming methods on the clay-limestone and rolled pebble soils of the Garrigues plateau. Dominated by Grenache (80%) with a touch of Syrah ( 20%), this vintage is traditionally vinified in concrete vats with total destemming, then aged for 12 months in 450L barrels , which gives it structure and elegance.

Lopy 2019 is distinguished by its deep ruby ​​color and an intense nose of ripe black fruit, spices, leather, and bitter cocoa , enhanced by a garrigue character typical of the Southern Rhône. The palate is dense, concentrated, and velvety , supported by silky tannins, balanced acidity , and a long, spicy finish that highlights the aromatic depth of its terroir.
