Champagne Mouzon Leroux L'Opiniâtre 2016

Located in Verzy , a grand cru of the Montagne de Reims, Champagne Mouzon-Leroux is run by Sébastien Mouzon , a visionary winemaker in biodynamics.
The estate cultivates the vines with respect for natural cycles and produces its champagnes in micro-plots, favoring natural fermentations and low dosage.
Each vintage tells the story of a terroir and a philosophy: that of a living, sincere champagne vibrant with minerality.

L'Opiniatre 2016, pure Chardonnay, selection of the best barrels vinified without sulfur. Disgorged in October 2021, no dosage. Only 1910 bottles produced.

Candied citrus, white fruits, brioche, hazelnut. The palate is full, with a saline tension on the finish. Undeniably a Champagne for fine dining.
