Les Terrassettes 2023 - Clos de l'Anhel

Les Terrassettes is Sophie's “signature cuvée,” made from a blend dominated by Carignan, with Syrah and Grenache grown on clay-limestone soils on stony terraces. Hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in concrete and stainless steel vats for 1 year to respect the identity of the grape varieties and the terroir.

The color is deep purple, and the nose is complex, mingling black cherry, wild plum, pepper, and garrigue.

On the palate, the wine is structured yet velvety, carried by fine tannins and a beautiful mineral framework that prevents any heaviness despite its generosity.

Served at around 16°C, it beautifully accompanies a rack of lamb with herbs, a Provençal beef stew, or oven-roasted vegetables. It can be cellared for 5-8 years.
