Description
This Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru comes from old Chardonnay vines planted on the chalky slopes of Mesnil-sur-Oger , one of the most prestigious crus of the Côte des Blancs .
The Pascal Doquet estate, certified in organic agriculture since 2010 , works its plots with care, favouring long maturation and very low dosages.
The 2006 vintage , generous and harmonious, reveals a Champagne that is at once rich, structured and of crystalline elegance .
A complex nose of white flowers , buttery brioche , candied lemon zest , toasted hazelnut and damp chalk .
The palate, ample and taut, combines richness and minerality with a very long, mouthwatering and saline finish.
