The Garden 2023 - Lassolle Oak

The Garden 2023 - Lassolle Oak

French wine - Red - 13.4 % - 75 cL

  • Organic, Biodynamic

A small estate of 3.2 ha nestled in Romestaing in the Lot-et-Garonne, Chêne Lassolle embodies artisanal viticulture that respects nature.
Created in 2022 by Dominique and Thierry Barrault-Tassaux , it perpetuates the biodynamic spirit of the place to produce living, sincere wines imbued with their terroir , made from old South-West grape varieties such as Abouriou or Sauvignon gris .

Le Jardin 2023 , Dominique's first vintage, is made from a blend of 50% Abouriou , 35% Merlot and 15% Malbec.

The grapes are harvested by hand, and fermentation takes place using only indigenous yeasts . The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks and stoneware jars.

The Garden develops aromas of black fruits, blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherry , and a hint of white pepper .
The mouthfeel is ample , the tannins velvety , we find aromas of ripe black fruits , violet , slightly mentholated and smoky .
