La Guerrerie 2021 - Clos du Tue-Bœuf

La Guerrerie 2021 is a red wine produced on a small 0.75-hectare plot, from a blend of 90% Côt (Malbec) and 10% Gamay , grown on flinty clay soil. Vinification is natural, without additives or added sulfur, with approximately two weeks of maceration, followed by 11 months of aging in demi-muids and barrels that have held several vintages . Bottling was done without filtration or fining.

This wine offers expressive, ripe fruit without heaviness , with a digestible, lively juice driven by the fruit. At 11.4% alcohol, it's a relatively light wine that surprises with its suppleness and approachability.

The balance between fruitiness, lightness and substance makes it an easy red to approach, even when young.
