Description
Coeur de Canne is the iconic signature of the family-run La Favorite distillery, one of the last remaining fully independent institutions in Martinique. This AOC white rum receives special attention: a long fermentation and slow distillation in a copper Creole column, which grant it extraordinary smoothness and creaminess.
A rum of great freshness, a true explosion of freshly cut cane with an intense and indulgent nose featuring notes of ripe sugarcane, flowers, and citrus.
On the palate, the attack is supple and silky, revealing the aromatics of natural cane sugar, touches of honey, white pepper, and a hint of plant sap.
The finish is very long and harmonious, leaving a sensation of lemony freshness and a delicate sweet persistence.
La Favorite continues to distill its rums using steam power thanks to a steam engine dating back to 1906, a process unique in the world!
