Located in Irouléguy , in the heart of the Basque Country, Domaine Arretxea is a pioneer of biodynamics in the southwest.
The vines, planted on soils of red sandstone, schist and limestone , give rise to wines of remarkable purity , where energy, mineral tension and aromatic depth mingle.
The reds made from Tannat, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon reveal a rare balance between power and freshness; the whites, made from Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng and Courbu , offer brightness and finesse.

“Hegoxuri” means “southern wind” in Basque — a nod to the warm breeze from the Pyrenees that caresses the high-altitude vineyards of the estate.
Blend of Gros Manseng , Petit Manseng and Petit Courbu , grown biodynamically on limestone and sandstone soils.
