Biodynamic
The Foradori estate, founded in Mezzolombardo in Trentino, is run by Elisabetta Foradori , an emblematic figure of Italian biodynamic viticulture. Since the 1980s, she has revived the Teroldego grape variety, native to Trentino, by cultivating her vines on the pebble-rich alluvial soils of Campo Rotaliano.
The philosophy of the estate is based on respect for living things , natural cycles and Demeter certified biodynamics .
The 2016 Granato is made from old Teroldego vines cultivated biodynamically. Vinification is natural, using indigenous yeasts , fermentation in concrete tanks , followed by aging in large oak casks and amphorae for approximately 15 months. No chemical additives or aggressive filtration—a wine of exceptional purity.
Deep, brilliant ruby robe. Intense nose of black cherry , blackberry , sweet spices , graphite , and a floral and balsamic touch. On the palate, a masterful balance between power and elegance , with velvety tannins and vibrant minerality .
A wine of emotion, with great inner energy , a unique signature of the Foradori style.
