Valtuille Godello 2020 - Castro Ventosa

The wines of Raúl Pérez and his bodega Castro de Valtuille , in the Bierzo region (northwest Spain), are among the most expressive and personal in the country.
They perfectly reflect the artisanal philosophy of the Galician winemaker: absolute respect for the terroir, working with old vines, vinification by plot, and minimal use of wood.

This Godello comes from vines located on the granite slopes of Bierzo, cultivated without chemicals and harvested by hand.
Aged partly in barrels and in vats, it combines tension and creaminess, true to the vibrant style of Raúl Pérez.

Aromas of green apple , quince , white flowers and wet stone .
Full-bodied, saline and taut on the palate, with a subtle bitterness on the finish.
A pure and energetic white, with crystalline minerality.
