Fiano di Avellino 2021 - Ciro Picariello

Based in Summonte , in the province of Avellino (Campania), Ciro Picariello is today one of the most respected winemakers in southern Italy. His family estate cultivates its vines at altitude (up to 650 m) , on volcanic soils, using uncertified organic practices, with minimal intervention to allow the terroir to fully express itself.

Made entirely from Fiano , the emblematic indigenous grape variety of Campania, this wine is slowly fermented at low temperatures with native yeasts, then aged for several months on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks. This method preserves the wine's freshness, texture, and minerality.

Brilliant pale yellow robe. Pure and expressive nose of citrus , white flowers , fresh almond and a subtle smoky and mineral note. On the palate, the wine is lively, taut and precise , with beautiful concentration and a saline finish typical of mountain wines.
