The Dönnhoff Felsenberg "Felsentürmchen" Riesling Grosses Gewächs 2020 is an exceptional German white wine, produced from a spectacular terroir and meticulous winemaking.

Felsenberg is a breathtaking Grand Cru vineyard located in Schlossböckelheim on the banks of the Nahe River. The vines, planted on slopes reaching up to 60% incline , are rooted in soils of dark red volcanic rock, porphyry, and melaphyre , mixed with stones and scree. This extreme terroir, facing due south and sheltered by cliffs, imparts an intense minerality and unique energy to the wine.

A pure, intense, and complex nose, marked by a smoky and crystalline minerality , reminiscent of flint and volcanic rock. It reveals aromas of white and green fruits , notes of citrus (grapefruit), a touch of subtle reduction (yeast, mushroom), as well as floral (rose) scents and nuances of aromatic herbs.
