Encruzado 2010 - Casa de Mouraz

Made from 100% of the indigenous Encruzado grape variety, this exceptional white wine is produced from vines planted on granite soils located between 400 and 500 meters above sea level.
Encruzado is often considered the great white grape variety of the Dão , capable of combining aromatic power, structure and minerality.
Vinified partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in barrels, then aged on fine lees, this 2010 vintage reveals a subtle and profound expression, at once complex, taut and long-lasting .

A refined nose of white flowers , vine peach , citrus zest and toasted almond , with evolving notes of honey and damp chalk .
The palate combines volume and freshness , supported by a chiseled acidity and a slightly saline texture .
A long, mineral finish, elegantly patinated by time.
