Amarula is made from a fruit called the Marula , harvested in sub-Saharan Africa . The spirit is distilled and then aged in French oak barrels before being blended with cream , giving it its delicate and creamy taste.

Best enjoyed with ice cubes.

The nose is elegant and very balanced , revealing itself to be refined and smooth with notes of malted cereals, citrus (lemon) and licorice . With aeration, linseed oil, flowers, clover and vanilla emerge.

The palate is soft and slightly creamy , true to the nose. Subtly oaked, it also reveals notes of almond and honey.

A long finish, with a lovely dry, herbaceous character.
