An icon of the northern Rhône, Domaine Auguste Clape has embodied the soul of Cornas for several generations. Auguste Clape was one of the pioneers in making the appellation known beyond its borders.

Today, his son Pierre-Marie and his grandson Olivier perpetuate this tradition of excellence: manual work, plot-by-plot vinifications, long aging in old casks.

The wines are dense, deep, rooted in the granitic soil of Cornas — powerful Syrahs but imbued with a rare freshness and sincerity.
