An icon of the Northern Rhône, Domaine Auguste Clape has embodied the soul of Cornas for several generations.
Auguste Clape was one of the pioneers who helped make the appellation known beyond its borders.
Today, his son Pierre-Marie and his grandson Olivier perpetuate this tradition of excellence: manual labor, parcel-based vinification, and long aging in old foudres.
The wines are dense, profound, and rooted in the granitic soil of Cornas — powerful Syrahs, yet marked by a rare freshness and sincerity.
The estate’s iconic cuvée, sourced from 40- to 70-year-old vines on the most renowned slopes of Cornas.
