Condrieu 2020 - Aurélien Chatagnier

Based in Saint-Pierre-de-Bœuf, north of the Rhône Valley, Aurélien Chatagnier is part of the most promising new generation of Rhône winemakers.
Trained under Stéphane Ogier, he cultivates his vines organically on the steep slopes of Saint-Joseph , Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu . His wines are precise, expressive and of rare elegance, combining purity of fruit and mineral freshness.

A textbook Condrieu, where Viognier expresses all its nobility on the south-facing granite slopes.

An explosion of ripe yellow fruits , candied apricot , acacia honey and sweet spices . A full, rich palate, yet balanced by a lovely mineral freshness.
