Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru 2016 - Domaine Bart

Clos de Bèze is one of the most prestigious wines of the Côte de Nuits . The clay-limestone soils and favorable exposure give the wines great aromatic complexity, a fine structure and remarkable aging potential.

The style of Domaine Bart combines tradition, respect for the terroir and elegance: the wine highlights the fruit, the subtlety of Pinot Noir and the finesse of the terroir, without seeking over-extraction.

The nose is complex and seductive, a floral and spicy bouquet blending red fruits (cherry, morello cherry, sometimes blackcurrant or wild red fruits), undergrowth and notes of flowers (rose, violet).

The palate is ample, structured, and elegant. The texture is dense yet refined, with fine, silky tannins that support the fruit beautifully. Ripe black or red fruits are present, along with a touch of spice and sometimes a subtle minerality. The overall impression is balanced, with a lovely vibrancy and a rich yet delicate texture.
