Ataulfos 2009 - Jiménez-Landi

Ataulfos 2009 comes from a single plot of 1.5ha of Grenache noir vines aged approximately 60 to 70 years, planted on sandy-granitic soils rich in silica.
Biodynamic agriculture, manual harvesting
Whole-cluster fermentation
Pre-fermentation cold maceration for 4 days using indigenous yeasts, followed by a long maceration of 20 to 40 days with gentle pump-overs and punch-downs.
Aged for 13 to 20 months in French oak barrels and casks.
