Domaine Chermette is a family-run winery dating back to the 17th century, located in Saint-Vérand, in the southern Beaujolais region . Taken over in 2023 by Jean-Etienne Chermette, the estate combines tradition and modernity to produce quality wines while innovating with new grape varieties (Pinot Noir, Viognier, Syrah) and modernizing the estate's image.

Highly representative of the Fleurie appellation, the queen of Beaujolais crus , this cuvée is imbued with the terroir of Poncié .

Hand- harvested, traditional Beaujolais winemaking with maceration Semi-carbonic maceration of whole bunches with indigenous yeasts. This is followed by aging for 6 to 8 months in old oak casks .

The nose is delicate and floral , with notes of faded rose, peony, and violet.

On the palate, the tannins are silky, supple, tender, and elegant. Beautifully aromatic. Aromas of red fruit , notes of toast and undergrowth ; the finish is often peppery.
